Women's Tennis Plays Make-Up Match Against Temple

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel women's tennis team took on Temple on Friday afternoon a week after the teams were originally slated to play each other in the Drexel Dragons Invitational. With the original match postponed due to inclement weather, Drexel and Temple met at the Vidas Courts on Friday with the Dragons winning two of the six matches played.
The doubles team of Salma Ziouti and Clary Rodriguez Cruz continued their strong play of late when they won an 8-3 match against Oyku Boz and Cecilia Castelli. Ziouti then added a singles with, a 6-3, 7-6 (5) defeat of Alina Abdurakhimova.
The Dragons will return to action next week when they take part in the ITA Regional meet at Yale University in New Haven, Conn.
