
Men’s Squash Drops Sunday Afternoon Matchup at No. 5 Penn, 8-1

PHILADELPHIA — The No. 7 Drexel men's squash team dropped its Sunday afternoon matchup at No. 5 Penn, 8-1, in the closing match of the Pennsylvania State Classic.
Lucas Rousselet fought to the Dragons' lone win on the afternoon. The sophomore outlasted Hayes Murphy in a five-game match, 11-9, 11-8, 6-11, 8-11, 11-6. Drexel played tough matches at Nos. 3, 7 and 8. Atticus Kelly took the first game off David Yacobucci at No. 3, but Yacobucci came back to win the next three, 10-12, 11-9, 11-7, 11-8. Noel Solomon put up a strong fight at No. 7, but ultimately fell to Jonathan Zeitels, 12-10, 11-13, 11-8, 11-4. Cillian Dunne's comeback bid fell short at No. 8 as Wil Hagen went on to an 11-4, 11-7, 9-11, 11-8 win.

The Dragons return to action next weekend when they host Columbia on Saturday and Trinity on Sunday.
