Swimming and Diving Heads to Baltimore to Take on Loyola, Johns Hopkins, and West Chester

BALTIMORE – The Drexel men's and women's swimming and diving teams head down to Baltimore, Md. this Friday, Nov. 3 and Saturday, Nov. 4 to face the Loyola (Md.) Greyhounds the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, and the West Chester Golden Rams. Action is set for 5 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday from the Mangione Pool at the Fitness and Aquatics Center on the north end of Loyola's campus.
LAST TIME OUT
Drexel Swimming opened up the season two weeks ago at the Philly Relays at La Salle on Friday before hosting La Salle and Villanova at Drexel Pool Saturday. The women got the best of La Salle on Saturday, 212-76, but fell to Villanova, 196-87. The men on the other hand defeated both La Salle, 153-147, and Villanova, 198.5-99.5. The Drexel men came from behind with crucial wins in the last two events to overcome the Explorers and Wildcats.
Diving took on La Salle and Villanova on Friday while swimming was competing at the Philly Relays. Anthony Musciano took a second-place finish in the 1-meter dive with a score of 258.20, while Simon Carne placed fourth with a score of 234.20. In the 3-meter dive, Carne finished in second place at 257.90 and Musciano finished in sixth place with a score of 222.95.
LOOKING FORWARD
Follow this weekend's meet down in Baltimore, the Dragons will take a week off of competition before returning to action at George Mason's Patriot Invitational in Fairfax, Va. from Thursday, Nov. 16 through Saturday, Nov. 18.
