No. 9 Men's Squash Wins Second Straight Sunday over No. 16 Franklin & Marshall, 8-1

PHILADELPHIA – The No. 9 Drexel men's squash team won its second match in a row Sunday afternoon, taking down No. 16 Franklin & Marshall at the Kline & Specter Squash Center, 8-1. The Dragons are now 4-6 on the season.
With Lucas Rousselet and Dylan Kachur out of Sunday's lineup, the Dragons bumped everyone up and slid Royston Raymond and Will Grady into the lineup. Despite missing two of their top four guys, the Dragons pulled out a strong victory. Atticus Kelly won his third match in a row, outlasting Sanjay Jeeva at No. 1 in five games, 11-9, 11-3, 7-11, 12-14, 11-5. Bransten Ming then made quick work of Shamseldeen Abbas at No. 2 in three, 11-2, 11-1, 11-7. Nat Fry followed in the third spot with a sweep of Silvio Soom, 11-3, 11-6, 11-6, while Noel Solomon took down Samm Fulton at No. 5, 11-9, 11-3, 11-2. Cillian Dunne, playing up at No. 6, worked a sweep of Boden Polikoff, 11-9, 13-11, 11-4, while Mostafa Abouel Makarim continued his strong stretch of play, beating Kingman Bassett, 11-9, 11-7, 11-7. Raymond entered the lineup at No. 8 and came away with a four-game win, 9-11, 11-5, 11-4, 11-5, while Grady slid into the nine-spot to beat Frank Murray in five, 4-11, 11-6, 11-4, 2-11, 11-9.
The Dragons are back in action on Saturday when they head to Charlottesville, Va. to take on the Virginia Cavaliers.
