Men's Tennis Nets 4-3 Win Over Morgan State

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel men's tennis team got a 4-3 victory over Morgan State at the Armory on Sunday afternoon, with Sanil Jagtiani clinching the victory with his first singles win as a Dragon.

The Dragons won all three doubles matches. Hamza Laalej and Sinan Orhon teamed up to win the top doubles point, 6-3. Balaji Lakshmanan and Jagtiani won at No. 2, 6-4, then Youssef Lahlou and Xandy Hammitt won 6-3 at No. 3.

Lakshmanan won at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 6-1. Orhon won at No. 3, 6-4, 7-5, and Jagtiani clinched the victory with his triumph at No. 4, 6-4, 6-4.

The Dragons will get back to work on the road next week, when they head to Lehigh on Saturday at 11 a.m.
