Women's Tennis Competes in ITA Northeast Regionals

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Drexel women's tennis team competed in the ITA Northeast Regionals at Yale on Saturday. Salma Ziouti and Ghita Benhadi won their first round of singles main draws.
After defeating Taal (Seton Hall) 6-4,7-6 Ziouti was knocked out by Yale's Martinelli, 6-4, 6-2. Meanwhile, Benhadi defeated Einck (Army) in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 6-1, before dropping her final contest, 6-4,6-1, to Wilcox (BC).
In doubles action, Benhadi and Majorova fell to Blanco and Antoniou (Buffalo), 8-4.
