Men's Squash Upended by Penn on Final Day of Pennsylvania State Classic

LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 11 Drexel men's squash team fell 8-1 to No. 7 Penn on Sunday afternoon to close out competition at the Pennsylvania State Classic.
Matias Knudsen had an impressive performance, winning a blistering 3-0 in the No. 2 spot against David Yacobucci with a score of 11-3, 11-4, 11-5. Royston Raymond and Filip Krueger put up a tough battle, losing closely fought four-game matches. Raymond won the first game, 11-8, before dropping the next three, 10-12, 10-12, 6-11, to Yash Bhargava while Krueger lost to Mike Mehl, 5-11, 11-8, 9-11, 9-11.
The Dragons will return to action when they host UVA for a 10 a.m. match at the Kline & Specter Squash Center.
