PHILADELPHIA - The No. 12 Drexel men's squash team played a strong team match Saturday afternoon but could not overcome a stronger No. 4 St. Lawrence team at the Kline & Specter Squash Center, 9-0. The Dragons fall to 6-10 overall
Three Dragons played to five-game matches but ultimately could not overcome their Saints opponent. Noel Solomon took the first two games off Belal Newar, but Newar would battle back to the victory. At No. 8, Mostafa Abouel Makarim dropped the first two games, came back to win the next two, but Youssef Fikry would hold off Makarim in the final game for the win. At No. 9, Royston Raymond and St. Lawrence's Derek Ng would trade games, but it was Ng who go the best of that one in five.
The Dragons return to finish out the regular season Sunday afternoon against Middlebury at noon for Senior Day.
