Men's Tennis Downs Temple, 6-1

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team downed Temple, 6-1, on Thursday afternoon at Vidas Courts for their fourth consecutive victory. With the win, the Dragons improve to 10-5 overall.
The Dragons won the bottom two doubles matches to claim the doubles point. Sanil Jagtiani and Balaji Lakshamanan won at No. 2, 6-6 while Hamza Laleej and Xandy Hammitt won at No. 3 by default. In singles action, Drexel cruised past Temple with ease. The Dragons dropped only one out of the six matches while three were straight set victories. Sanil Jagtiani won at No. 3, 6-2, 6-0, Bernard Tefel won at No. 4, 6-1, 6-2 and Sinan Orhon got the point at No. 5 defeating his opponent, 6-2, 6-2.
The Dragons will return to action on Wednesday, April 4 at 1:30 p.m. when they host Saint Joseph's.
