Men's Tennis Defeats George Washington, 4-3; Hammitt Clinches Match

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Drexel men's tennis earned its sixth win in a row after defeating George Washington in a comeback on Friday afternoon, 4-3. Xandy Hammitt clinched the matched in the No. 5 spot.
After falling 3-0, the Dragons dug deep and found momentum to win the next three singles in straight sets. Drexel earned three wins in a row from Sinan Orhon, Sanil Jagtiani and Gustav Wogen before Hammitt clinched the match beating Lawrence Sciglitano, 7-5, 7-6.
Drexel will return to action on Saturday, Feb. 23 when they take on Georgetown at 2 p.m.
