PHILADELPHIA – Drexel women's squash will look to continue its winning streak when it hosts Buffalo for a 3 p.m. match at the Hecht/Hamlin Center. A pair of AirPods will be given out as a door prize and free pizza will be offered to all who attend.
Last Time Out
Drexel women's tennis earned their fifth consecutive win as Salma Ziouti clinched a 4-3 victory against Georgetown on Saturday afternoon.
Drexel earned the doubles point in the No. 1 and No. 2 spot, which proved to make all the difference as both teams nabbed three singles wins. The match was back-and-forth until it all came down to the No. 1 spot with things tied up at 3-3. Ziouti, however, was up to the task as she stepped up to take down Sofie Moenster, 7-5, 7-6(1) to clinch the match.
Scouting Buffalo
Buffalo played strong doubles on Saturday afternoon, but struggled in singles in a 6-1 loss to West Virginia at Miller Tennis Center. The loss drops UB to 6-2 on the year. Buffalo will play one more match against Rutgers on Friday before taking on the Dragons Saturday.
Up Next
Drexel will return to the courts on Wednesday, March 6 when it hosts Fordham for a 12 p.m. match at the Hecht/Hamlin Center.
