Women's Tennis Closes Fall Schedule at Cissie Leary Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's tennis team completed its fall portion of the 2021-22 season on Sunday at the Cissie Leary Invitational, hosted by Penn. The Dragons competed against Temple in doubles and against the Quakers in singles play.

The Dragons finished the fall season with a duo of singles wins. Isabel Cabrerizo defeated her opponent in two sets, 7-5, 7-6 (5). Cristina Corte González also won her singles match in two sets, 6-4, 6-2.

The Drexel women's tennis team will return for its spring season on January 28. The Dragons will open its season against the Penn Quakers at the Hecht Tennis Center.
