Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Complete First Day of CAA Championships

NEWARK, Del. – The Drexel men's and women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the first of eight days of the CAA Championships. On day one of the competition, the diving team traveled to Newark, Del., and participated in the men's one-meter and women's three-meter dives.
In the women's three-meter dive, Katie Caputo placed 19th in the preliminaries, and Cora Hochsteller finished in 20th.
In the preliminary round for the men, Will Seely placed fourth with a score of 218, and Jack Patton followed, in fifth place, with a score of 203.75.
In the finals, Patton finished in fourth, scoring 224.90, and Seely finished in sixth with a score of 218.60.
The Drexel diving team returns to action tomorrow to compete in the men's three-meter and the women's one-meter events. Action kicks off at 10:30 a.m. and can be seen on FloSports.
