Men's and Women's Diving Finishes CAA Diving Championships

NEWARK, Del. – The Drexel men's and women's swimming and diving teams finished the diving portion of the CAA Championships on Saturday. On day two of the competition, the diving team traveled to Newark, Del., and participated in the men's three-meter and women's one-meter dives.
In the preliminary round for the women's 1-meter dive, Katie Caputo placed 16th with 203.80, and Cora Hochsteller finished in 20th with a score of 183.05. In the Consolation round, Caputo placed eighth with a score of 172.30.
On the men's side, Will Seely and Jack Patton participated in the 3-meter dive. Seely finished the preliminary round with a score of 194.95, and Patton followed with 189.40. In the finals, Seely placed fifth with 210.25, and Patton finished in sixth with 183.35.
The Drexel swimming teams will travel to Christiansburg, Va., to participate in six days of the CAA Championships. The women will swim first from Monday, March 29, to Wednesday, March 31. The men will follow starting on Thursday, April 1, and ending on Saturday, April 3.
