NEWARK, Del. - The Drexel women's soccer season came to an end with a 1-0 loss at Delaware on Saturday. The Blue Hens scored a goal midway through the first half and it proved to be the only goal of the game.

Delaware's Gabby Johnson scored her second goal of the year in the 22nd minute. She fired a shot with her left foot by Drexel goalkeeper Miyuki Schoyen off a loose ball from approximately 20 yards out. That was the only goal of the half. Delaware outshot Drexel, 6-1, over the first 45 minutes. Each team had one corner in the half.

The second half was a scoreless duel. Delaware's defense held Drexel to just a few chances as the Dragons attempted to tie it up. The Dragons had three shots in the second half, but all were saved by Lauren Krinsky.

The Dragons ended the season with a 3-4-1 overalll record. They were 1-2-1 in Colonial Athletic Association play. The Blue Hens finished their season at 3-4 and 1-3 in conference action.
