Drexel Places Fourth at the Wildcat Invitational

VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Drexel golf team finished in fourth place at the Wildcat Spring Invitational, which concluded on Tuesday afternoon. It was the team's final tune-up before they head to South Carolina to compete in the Colonial Athletic Association Championships at the end of the month.

Alex Butler and Angelo Giantsopoulos each shot 144 during the two-day event. They finished tied for 10th overall at the tournament, which had 16 teams participate at the Radnor Country Club in Villanova, Pa. The par-70 course played at 6,480 yards for the event. Liam Hart finished with a 146, while Stephen Cerbara was three strokes behind hart.

Drexel fired a 290 on Tuesday after shooting 289 during the opening round. St. John's hung on two win the tournament, defeating Temple by just one stroke.
