PHILADELPHIA, Pa - The Drexel women's tennis team picked up their fourth loss of the season on Wednesday afternoon in a 5-1 contest with Delaware. Prior to the match, the Dragons took a moment to recognize the careers of their two seniors Marta Martinez and Salma Ziouti.

The Blue Hens put themselves on the board first in doubles play, taking a 6-1, 6-2 match from the No. 1 team Šárka Richterová and Aida Garcia Mendez and the No. 2 team Cristina Corte González and Isabel Cabrerizo. Marta Martinez and Pauline Kharkover were on their way to a win at No. 3 (4-1) before being cut short by the clinching victory.

Cabrerizo tallied the solo victory for the Dragons in singles play, moving past Delaware's Isabella Montana in a 6-4, 7-6 (11) contest.

Drexel returns to home court this Saturday, Apr. 17 for a 2 p.m. matchup with Hofstra.
