Men's Third Varsity Eight Grabs Solo Win Against George Washington and Princeton

PHILADELPHIA, Pa - The Drexel men's rowing team raced a doubleheader today against a tough George Washington University team in the first session and a fast Princeton University squad in the second session. The Dragons saw one win on the day in the third varsity eight race in shell Lois Krall, just passing the Drexel freshmen 8+ in Joseph Greipp and the George Washington third varsity.

The Drexel freshmen 8+ group was disqualified in the race against George Washington due to a lane violation at the turn. The squad bounced back with an even closer race to the line against Princeton, coming up just short of a win.

The Dragons will return to the Schuylkill River next weekend as they host the Bergen Cup Regatta on Saturday, May 1.
