Tyma, Bushma Lead Dragons at Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 7 Drexel University women's squash team got wins at the number one and two spots, but the Dragons fell to No. 4 Yale 6-3 on Sunday afternoon.
In the first position, Karina Tyma downed Sneha Sivakumar 11-4, 11-7, 7-11, 11-9. Alina Bushma also won at number two, taking a 3-1 decision by scores of 11-5, 11-3, 9-11, 11-9 against Elisabeth Ross. Drexel also got a victory in the eighth spot as Dina Rosli topped Lindsay Westerfield 11-9, 9-11, 11-7, 11-6.
All but one DU competitor took at least one game in their respective matches. Margot Prow nearly pulled off a stunning comeback at number three as after dropping the first two games, 11-6, 11-6, she won the third 11-9 and then breezed 11-2 through the fourth before falling in the deciding set.
The Dragons are next in action on Tuesday, January 18 when it hosts Harvard at the Kline & Specter Squash Center. Match time is scheduled for noon.
