Jesudason’s Run at ITA All-American Tournament Ends in Round of 64

TULSA, OKLA. – Alan Jesudason, of the Drexel men's tennis team carried his run against some of the nation's best tennis players into the third round of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's All-American Tournament.

Jesudason started his run by defeating the tenth-ranked Matthew Che of Notre Dame, 7-6 (5), 7-6 (3). In the second round, the sophomore topped Marcus Ferreira of Vanderbilt with identical 6-3 sets. In the round of 64, Jesudason was put up against Togan Tokac of Florida and was defeated.

In addition, Matvey Radionov, Kael Shah and Alex De Sousa also were invited to compete in the tournament. De Sousa bounced back in the consolation bracket and defeated his opponent from Incarnate Word, Pietro Perego.

The Dragons now prepare for the ITA Regionals this Friday at Penn.
