ELON, N.C. – The Drexel men's soccer team saw its season come to an end in the 2022 CAA Semifinals on Sunday, November 6 by the Elon Phoenix, 1-0. The Dragons end their season 7-5-6.

Drexel outshot the Phoenix 20-11. But the Phoenix five-man defensive line held Drexel to just two shots on goal. Elon only placed four shots on target.

The Dragons had many chances to score but their best chance came in the 87^th minute. A shot by Harrison Coron struck the crossbar and the ball was then volleyed into the goal for what seemed like a Drexel goal. The goal was then called off for an offsides.

Elon scored its lone goal in the 21^st minute on a header inside the penalty box. The header, which was struck on the right side of the goal, found the top left of the goal and proved to be the game-winner.
