Men's Tennis Wraps Fall Season and Dragon Invitational

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team wrapped its fall season on Sunday, November 6 as the team played in the third day of the Dragon Invitational. Drexel competed against Monmouth on the final day and won eight of 10 matches.
In doubles play, Matvey Radionov and Daniel Dudockin defeated their opponents, 6-4 while Juan Manuel Sanchez and Djordje Janackovic downed their counterparts, 6-2.
The Dragons took care of business in singles play, winning all but one match. Alan Jesudason took down Niels Van Noord, 8-7 (8-6). Alex De Sousa also earned a close victory, defeating his Hawks opponent, 8-7 (7-5). Dudockin finished his weekend with a win against Alexander Zuckerman, 8-4. Dudockin capped the Dragon Invitational winning six matches. Radionov finished his opponent, 8-5, while Gustav Wogen and Janackovic earned victories, 8-3 and 7-6, respectively.
As a team, the Dragons finished the weekend winning 12 of 20 singles matches and eight of 11 doubles matches.
The Dragons will rest and prepare for the spring portion of their schedule. The first match of the 2023 season is slated for January 21 against Old Dominion.
