PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel men's tennis team opened its spring season facing a old conference rival in Old Dominion at home on Saturday. The Monarchs defeated the Dragons 6-1 at Vidas Courts.

In doubles play, the team of Daniel Dudockin and Matvey Radionov had their second-seeded match go unfinished, though at the time, the pair was tied with their opponents, 4-4. In singles play, the Dragons' lone victor was Radionov in the No. 4 spot. Radionov defeated his opponent 7-6 (7-4), 6-4.

The Dragons return to action on Friday, January 27 at noon. The Dragons will host the Villanova Wildcats at the Vidas Courts.
