Knudsen, Serna Earn Wins for No. 7 Men's Squash Against No. 4 Yale

PHILADELPHIA – Matias Knudsen and Nico Serna picked up wins, but the No. 7 Drexel men's squash team fell to No. 4 Yale 7-2 on Sunday afternoon.
First to earn victory was Serna who downed Tad Carney, 11-6, 11-6, 7-11, 11-4 in the fourth position. Knudsen, playing in the number one slot on the ladder, defeated Maxwell Orr in a sweep, 11-4, 11-4, 11-4.
Putting up a strong challenge for Drexel was Yuri Pelbart at number six, who fell 3-2 in a back and forth match. Filip Krueger also battled in the seventh position with two games going to extra points. Both matches took more than an hour to compete.
The Dragons are now off until the new year when they travel to Washington D.C. to take on Navy on Friday, January 13.
