Giantsopoulos and Nicholas Continue to Lead Drexel at Dorado Beach Collegiate

Dragons will enter Tuesday's final round tied for fourth overall
DORADO, Puerto Rico - The Drexel golf team found continued its strong play in Puerto Rico on Monday. For the second consecutive day, the Dragons shot five-under par and are now tied for fourth place after the second round of the Dorado Beach Collegiate.
Angelo Giantsopoulos and Drue Nicholas continued their stellar early-season play. Giantsopoulos finished Monday's round with a four-under-par 68. He was consistent all day with five birdies and just one bogey at the Sugarcane Course at the Dorado Beach Resort and Club. Nicholas ended his round with a 69. The teammates are tied for second overall after 36 holes at nine-under par (135). They are just one stroke behind Nick Lyerly of UNCG, who is the 28th-ranked individual in the nation. Jeffrey Cunningham completed his second round at even par. Brockton English bounced back on Monday with a two-over-par 74.
Ball State leads the 13-team field at 19-under par. The Cardinals are one shot ahead of UNCG. Wofford is third at 14-under par, just four strokes ahead of Drexel and Virginia Teach. The Hokies entered the tournament as the 44th ranked team in the nation.
