Dragons Finish First Round of Abarta Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational in Third

EASTON, Pa. – The Drexel golf team finished the first round of the Abarta Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational in third place, shooting 5-over par on Sunday evening. The two-round tournament, hosted by Lafayette is being played at Northampton Country Club, a par-72 6,548-yard course.

John Keba paced the Dragons on Saturday, shooting a 2-under par 70. Despite shooting an even-par 36 on the front nine, Keba shot a 34 on the back nine, erasing two bogeys with an eagle on the par-5 11^th hole and birdies on the 13^th and 15^th holes. Keba's two-under put him in second of the individual leaderboard, trailing the leader by two strokes. John Stevenson finished his round, shooting 1-under par 71. Stevenson enters the second round in seventh place.

Drexel returns to Northampton Country Club on Monday to complete its final tournament of the regular season.
