HOW IT HAPPENED
QUOTABLE
"At this time of year, to win and advance, that's your goal. We knew we were going to play a tough team – any team that's playing this time of year is a tough team – I though Norfolk State did a great job of pressuring us and taking us out of what we wanted to do, but I thought our team did a good job of staying composed." –Head Coach Amy Mallon on advancing with the win against Norfolk State.
"When our shots aren't falling, we have to do the little things to help us in the long run. Our gameplan was to make sure they took contested shots, that every shot they took was going to be harder to make. Getting rebounds was definitely a key to the game." –Maura Hendrixson on the team's effort against the Spartans.
