Men's Rowing Enjoys Successful Day Against La Salle and Villanova

PHILADELPHIA - The Drexel University men's rowing team won three of its four races as the Dragons took on La Salle and Villanova on the Schuylkill River on Saturday morning.
Opening the day, the Varsity 8+ took first. Rowing in Lois Krall III, Drexel easily outpaced La Salle, winning by better than 17 seconds with a time of 6:20.3. In the 2V8+, the Dragons took the top two spots, competing in Lois Krall II and Sandra Lee Sheller II. Both boats finished a full minute ahead of Villanova.
The final win of the day came in the V4+ where the LeBow School of Business boat defeated La Salle in a time of 7:23.0.
The Dragons are back in action on April 2 when they compete in the Murphy Cup Regatta.
