WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Drexel men's tennis team fell to the William & Mary Tribe on Tuesday afternoon in Williamsburg. The Tribe, one of the nations best teams, downed Drexel, 7-0.
The Dragons were competitive in the third-seeded doubles match but ultimately fell in the tiebreaker, 7-6 (5)
In singles Play, Alex De Sousa pushed his match in the second-seeded spot to a third set after winning a tiebreaker in the second. The final score his match was 6-3, 6-7 (2), 10-7.
The Dragons travel to Harrisonburg to face James Madison on Thursday, March 24. Action with the Dukes is slated to begin at 1 p.m.
