Men's Tennis Downs Hofstra on Senior Day, 4-3

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's tennis team defeated the Hofstra Pride on senior day at the Vidas Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon, 4-3.
Prior to the start of the match, the Dragons honored Xandy Hammitt and Sanil Jagtiani for their efforts on the court throughout their careers.
Drexel swept the doubles point after the duo of Alan Jesudason and Alex De Sousa defeated their opponents, 7-5. In the second-seeded match, Hammitt and Jagtiani earned a 7-6 (3) decision. In the third-seeded match, Juan Manuel Sanchez and Matvey Radionov downed their opponents, 6-2.
In singles play, De Sousa took down his opponent in the second-seeded match, 7-6 (3), 6-1. Janackovic took his third-seeded match, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 7-5. Lastly, Juan Manuel Sanchez defeated his opponent in the sixth-seeded match with similar 6-1 sets.
The Dragons wrap up the regular season on Monday, April 18 as they travel to Saint Joseph's to take on the Hawks.
