CHERRY HILL, N.J. – The Drexel women's tennis team was defeated by the Temple Owls on Friday afternoon in Cherry Hill, N.J., 5-2.
The Owls quickly earned the doubles point after taking both the first and second-seeded matches.
In singles play, Lorie Lemongo defeated her opponent in the top flight, 5-7, 6-3, 10-7. Aida Garcia Mendez downed her opponent in the No. 3 spot to earn Drexel's second point of the match, 7-6 (5), 6-3.
The Dragons return to the court on Wednesday, April 13 to host the Towson Tigers in a match at the Vidas Courts. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.
