Women's Rowing Takes to the Water in Boston

BOSTON - The Drexel women's rowing team made the trip to New England for the Head of the Charles Regatta over the weekend, competing two boats at the prestigious event.
On Saturday, the Club 8+ of Chloe Speciale (coxswain), Ellen McCallin (stroke), Kira Tracy, Baylor Henry, Fiona Steele, Emily Ellis, Emily Gresham, Ariana Townsend and Sarah Ghazaz (bow) completed the course in Alleva XVII with a time of 17:55.864.
Sunday saw the Dragons also race in Alleva XVII as the Championship 8+ of Erin Ernst (coxswain), Taylor Powell (stroke), Mollie Knoff, Hannah Walseth, Margaret Dobrenko, Kayla Driscoll, Julianna Rogers, Giavanna Hunt and Rita Keefer (bow) clocked in with a time of 18:06.138.
Drexel returns to action on Saturday, October 28 when it competes at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta.
