No. 6 Men's Squash falls to No. 3 Yale

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 6 Drexel men's squash team traveled to New Haven, Connecticut to take on the Yale Bulldogs in a Saturday matchup. The No. 3 Bulldogs defeated the Dragons, 9-0.

The Dragons had a few matches that entered the fourth game, but the Bulldogs pulled away from the Dragons. Yuri Pelbart pushed his match in the four spot against Ted Carney to the distance before eventually falling, 9-11, 11-3, 11-6, 9-11, 11-1. Nico Serna won the second game, but lost to Siow Yee Xian at the top of the ladder, 11-8, 9-11, 11-7, 11-8.

Darien Benn also was upended in four to Nikhil Ismail, winning the third game. Ismail would wind up winning the match 11-7, 15-13, 9-11, 11-5.

Up next, the Dragons have a quick turnaround as they will travel down to New York for a Sunday afternoon match against the No. 7 Columbia Lions. Match time is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
