Morgantown, W.V. - Drexel's difficult stretch of games continues on Saturday when the Dragons make the trip to Morgantown to face West Virginia. The Mountaineers are a member of the Big 12 Conference, arguably the best conference in college basketball. Game time is set for 4 p.m. and can be seen on ESPN+ or you can listen on drexeldragons.com. The International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Local 98 is once again the presenting sponsor of Drexel Men's Basketball.
About the Dragons
Drexel is 5-4 after having its brief two-game winning streak snapped at Princeton on Tuesday night, 81-70. The Tigers, who are off to their best start in more than 100 years, led the entire way. Drexel chipped away and cut the lead to eight on a few occasions in the second half, but Princeton answered to move to 9-0.
Kobe MaGee had a breakout game for the Dragons. The Allentown native scored a career-high 18 points and had five rebounds. Justin Moore led the team with 19 points. The Dragons had a huge rebound advantage, but the Tigers shot 57.6 percent from the floor, the highest total Drexel has allowed this year.
About West Virginia
