PHILADELPHIA - Drexel is set to host American on Sunday for Senior Day in its last dual competition before the postseason at 4 p.m. in the Daskalakis Athletic Center. The Dragons have been victorious in their last four of six duals including wins against Hofstra, LIU, Brown, and George Mason. DU is 10-7 overall this season and 6-2 against the EIWA. The Dragons will honor Evan Barczak, Brian Bonino, Michael Martinak, Antonio Mininno, Sean O'Malley, Riley Onorato, Josh Stillings, Joseph Timm, and manager Alexis Melson.
Series History
This will be the 32nd dual between the two schools. Drexel has the dominant advantage with 22 victories over the Eagles. In the last meeting, DU defeated its EIWA foe 26-16 on January 30, 2022, in Washington, D.C.
About the Dragons
DU has defeated No. 20 Purdue, Utah Valley as well as EIWA rivals Bucknell and Binghamton. The team returns two NCAA qualifiers from last season, No. 9 Mickey O'Malley and No. 17 Evan Barczak. Additionally, No. 26 Brian Bonino rounds out Drexel's nationally ranked-wrestlers.

American is 7-11 in bouts with key wins against Hofstra, Duke, Campbell, and Central Michigan. AU is 2-4 against its conference rivals. A key returner from last season is Jack Maida, the sophomore who placed 4th at 133lbs in the 2022 EIWA Championships.
