No. 7 Men's Squash Upended In MASC Championship Match

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – Noel Heaton picked up an early win for the No. 7 Drexel University men's squash team, but the Dragons fell to No. 6 Virginia 8-1 on Sunday afternoon.
At number seven, Noel Heaton took a 3-0 victory against Francis Hajek. After two tightly contested wins going 11-8 and 11-9, Heaton was able to cruise to victory in the third with an 11-2 victory.
Fritiof Jacobsson went the distance in his matchup in the five spot, but couldn't get the job done against Cullen Little going 6-11, 9-11, 11-8, 15-13, 11-3. Similarly, Filip Kreuger also was upended, going the distance against CJ Baldini going 10-12, 11-4, 11-3, 7-11, 17-15 from the sixth spot.
The Dragons are next in action on Friday, February 10 when they host Cornell at the Kline & Specter Squash Center. Match time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
