- The 17th point Washington scored was her 800th of the season, making her just the third player in CAA history to net 800+ in a year, joining Elena Della Donne (Delaware – 927 in 2011-12) and Precious Hall (JMU – 841 in 2016-17).
- Kylie Lavelle added 16 points, all of them coming in the second half.
- Maura Hendrixson had 12 assists, her eighth game this season with double digit dimes. The 231 assists she has this season are fifth most in a single-season in conference history.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Washington wasted no time in getting started, hitting five of her first seven shots and scoring 10 of the Dragons 12 points in the opening frame as Drexel led 12-11 after 10 minutes.
- The second quarter got off to a rough start for the Dragons who shot 2-for-6 to open the stanza as Monmouth went on a 12-5 run, taking a 23-17 lead at the midway point. Trailing by as many as eight, the Dragons found the bottom of the net a couple times and went into the break down just 29-24.
- Washington continued her torrid pace into the third, scoring the first basket for Drexel before Lavelle caught fire. The All-Rookie Team member netted nine points in a row for the Dragons, the last of them coming on a three-pointer from left of the key, giving DU a 36-35 lead four minutes into the period. Monmouth rallied, but Drexel battled back with each team scoring 19 in the frame, as the Hawks took a five-point lead into the final 10 minutes.
- Drexel continued to battle and pulled to within a point on a second chance effort by Lavelle with 47 seconds remaining. That was as close as the Dragons would get as the Hawks connected at the line in the waning seconds.
