Williams Named to NABC District 10 First Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Amari Williams of the Drexel men's basketball team has been selected to the National Association of Basketball Coaches District 10 First Team.
Williams capped his junior year by being named the Colonial Athletic Association's Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons and was also named to the conference's postseason First Team. Outside of league recognition, the Nottingham, England native was named as a finalist for the Lefty Driesell National Defensive Player of the Year Award. Williams led the Dragons with 13.7 points, 8.8 rebounds and 67 blocked shots. He ranks in the top 20 nationally in rejections.
