Women's Tennis Falls to Lynn, 5-2

BOCA RATON, FLA. – The Drexel women's tennis team fell to Lynn University, 5-2, on Wednesday afternoon in Boca Raton, Fla.
Lynn jumped right out to win the doubles point. Lorie Lemongo and Renata Lombera, however, took the No. 1 doubles match, 6-2.
In singles play, Lombera downed her opponent in the second-seeded match, 6-2, 7-6 (3), while Aida Garcia Mendez took care of business in the No. 5 flight, 6-2, 6-7, 7-4.
Drexel wraps its spring break in the Sunshine State on Thursday, March 30 when it travels to Fort Lauderdale to face Nova Southeastern. First serve is slated for 2 p.m.
