FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – The Drexel women's tennis team was defeated by Nova Southeastern, 7-0, on Thursday in Fort Lauderdale.
The Dragons wrapped their spring break trip in Florida facing the Sharks in Fort Lauderdale. The Dragons came close to victory in the fifth-seeded singles match as Aida Garcia Mendez came up short in three sets. The final score of her match was 6-2, 5-7, 10-7.
Drexel completes its spring schedule on April 5. The Dragons will host Monmouth to a conference match at Vidas Courts. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
