LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Drexel men's rowing team completed its first event of the spring season with multiple wins at the Las Vegas Invitational Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, the Dragons Varsity 8+ of Sam DeSilva (coxswain), Josh Diggons (stroke), Nikola Loncar, Nemanja Sajatovic, Damian Lis, James Schmidt, Andrew Manns, Jake Miller and Roman Smigiel (bow) downed San Diego, finishing more than 10 seconds ahead of the Tritons with a time of 6:13.12.

Saturday saw the 2V8+, comprised of Billy Ernst (coxswain), Michael Pazderski (stroke), Kosta Petkovic, Jack Anderson, Nick Foley, Alex Manolarakis, Zach Key, John Little and Andrei Malis (bow) took first against both the 2V8+ and 3V8+ of Oregon State.

The Dragons are next in action on Sunday, March 12 against Columbia on the Schuylkill River.
