Women's Tennis Slighted by Temple, 4-3

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's tennis team fell to the Temple Owls on Tuesday afternoon. The Dragons, who hosted the match at the Vidas Courts, dropped the sixth-seeded match to Temple to fall, 4-3.
Drexel took the top three singles matches to draw close to victory. Lorie Lemongo downed her opponent in two sets, 6-3, 6-4. In the second-seeded match, Renata Lombera powered through a three-set bout to take down her counterpart. The senior was victorious 6-4, 3-6, 6-4. In the third-seeded match, Isabel Cabrerizo earned a victory after piecing together a pair of 6-4 sets.
Drexel now gears up to play conference opponent Towson on Saturday, March 11. The Dragons will travel to Maryland to begin the match at 6 p.m.
