Day One of the CSCAA National Invitational Championships Concludes as Kacper Karnik has a Fourth Place Finish

ELKHART, Ind. - Drexel swimming and diving team finished day one of the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America National Invitational Championships.

KACPER KARNIK

Kacper Karnik finshed fourth in the 50 breast, clocking in at 24.28.This was his best time this season in the event as his previous season-high was 25.09 set at the CAA Championships.

ALASDAIR BELL

Alasdair Bell placed 18th in the 50 back finishing in a time of 22.78.

ANDREA CASINI

Andrea Casini placed 18th in the 500 free, clocking in at 4:29.36.

JAKUB KWASNY

Jakub Kwasny finished in 11th in the 50 fly, finishing with a time of 21.45. This was another season-high, beating Kwasny's mark of 21.94 which he seat the CAA Championships.

SEBASTIAN SMITH

Sebastian Smith finished 20th in the 50 fly with a time of 21.97.

RELAYS

The women's swimming and diving team competed in the 400 medley relay placing 23rd. Federica Nocera, Ewa Osiniak, Megan Ehrnfeldt and Chelsea Gravereaux teamed up for a time of 3:44.91.

Thursday: 200 Free Relay, 50 Back, 500 Free, 50 Fly, 200 IM, 50 Breast, 50 Free, 400 Medley Relay

Friday: 200 Medley Relay, 400 IM, 100 Fly, 200 Free, 100 Breast, 100 Back, 800 Free Relay

Saturday: 1000 Free, 1650 Free, 100 IM, 200 Back, 100 Free, 200 Breast, 200 Fly, 400 Free

Day two will begin Friday morning with preliminaries at 9:30 a.m., followed by finals at 6 p.m.
