PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel women's tennis team fell to the Delaware Blue Hens on Wednesday afternoon, 7-0.
Drexel won the third-seeded match to make the doubles point competitive. Mya Fuentes and Cristina Corte Gonzalez defeated their opponents, 6-4. In the second-seeded match, Renata Lombera took her match to the third set but could not overcome her opponent. The final score of that match was 6-0, 4-6, 10-8.
Drexel finishes the regular season on Saturday, April 15 in Hempstead, N.Y. The Dragons will take on Hofstra at noon.
