Chase Garners CAA Defensive Player of the Week Honor

RICHMOND, Va. - Joella Chase of the Drexel women's soccer team has been named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week for the period ending September 3 as announced by the conference office on Monday.
Chase recorded her first solo shutout as a Dragon in a 1-0 win at UMass Lowell on Sunday afternoon. She stopped four River Hawks shots in the contest.
Drexel returns to action and begins CAA play on Thursday, September 7, hosting William & Mary at Vidas Field at 6:00 p.m.
