Women’s Rowing Wraps Up at the Head of the Charles

BOSTON, Mass. - The Drexel women's team faced off against tough competition at the Head of the Charles Regatta Sunday afternoon in Boston. The Dragons finished 15th out of 18 boats in the women's Championship 4+ event on the Charles River.

In Laura Ludwick White, the team of Erin Ernst (Coxswain), Taylor Powell, Ariana Townsend, Lauren Boyce, and Grace Conroy rowed to a time of 18:47.285. Columbia took gold, crossing the line at 17:50.546.

Drexel's Baylor Henry competed in the Club 8+ event, rowing for Living in Color. Living in Color is a podcast dedicated to amplifying the voices of people of color in rowing. She helped the team place 33rd overall out of 42 boats.

The Dragons return to the Schuylkill River next weekend for the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, October 26.
