Drexel Announces Promotion Schedule for Men’s Basketball

PHILADELPHIA – The 2024-25 basketball season, presented by IBEW Local 98, is right around the corner with opening day less than two weeks away at the Daskalakis Athletic Center. There will be giveaways and promotions throughout the season as the men's team looks to continue its recent success at the DAC.

The men will tip-off the season on Nov. 4 against Georgian Court with Resident Hall Rush, where each hall will compete for prizes. It will also be Faculty Staff and Appreciation Game with free admission for both Drexel faculty and staff.
On Nov. 9 Colgate will be in the DAC on Blue and Gold Tip-Off day, presented by American Campus Communities. There will be food and games on Lancaster Walk prior to the game. The following Saturday, on Nov. 16, La Salle will be in the DAC for a pivotal Big 5 game. It will be Veteran's Celebration Day where all active members of the military and all veterans will have free admission.
The annual Homecoming game will be played on Jan. 25 and part of the festivities will be recognizing the newest class into the Drexel Athletics Hall of Fame. Once again, the game will be played against long-time rival Delaware as the Blue Hens make their final visit as a member of the Coastal Athletic Association.

Dec. 2 – Bryant - Greek Games
Jan. 11 – Towson – IBEW Hat Giveaway to the first 250 fans presented by IBEW Local 98. It will also be Autism Acceptance Day as well as Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day with free admission for Drexel faculty and staff.
Jan. 16 – Elon – Bluau – Wear Blue. First 250 students get free t-shirts.
Jan. 20 – Hofstra – Hometown Heroes Night where first responders are admitted free. There will also be a "Beat Hofstra" t-shirt giveaway to the first 250 students.
Feb. 6 – William & Mary - Black History Month/Inclusion Day
Feb. 8 – UNCW – Alex's Lemonade Stand/Gold Lace Game
Feb. 22 – Charleston – Pretzel Day (free pretzel for the first 500 students) and Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day with free admission for Drexel faculty and staff.
Feb. 27 – Hampton – Nostalgia Night
Mar. 1 – Monmouth - Senior Day
