TOWSON, Md.– An early score extended the Dragons win streak to five as they defeat Towson 1-0. Drexel shutout its opponent for the second straight game and now sits 7-3 on the season. The win puts the team at 3-0 in the CAA and tied atop the conference with Delaware.
Drexel (7-3) was on the road for the first time since September 15th when they took on UAlbany. A two-hour trip did not slow the red-hot Dragons as Anna Castaldo got Drexel on the board just three minutes into the game. Drexel outshot Towson 11 to 5, minimizing their chances to tie the game.
