Drexel Comes Back To Defeat Saint Francis 2-1

PHILADELPHIA– Drexel came back from an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Saint Francis 2-1. The Dragons move to 8-3 on the season and have won six straight games for the first time since 2013.
Saint Francis got off to a fast start as it found the back of the net in the first quarter. It was the first time the Dragons have trailed in five games, dating back to September 15th against UAlbany.
In the second Quarter, Valentine Van Hellemont put Drexel on the board and tied the game in the 17th minute.
It only took eight minutes for Drexel to take its first lead of the game. After a full field pass from Stephanie Oleykowski, Kenzie Lever knocked home what proved to be the game-winning goal into the back of the net.
