Men's Squash Wrapped Up Pennsylvania State Classic defeating Chatham and Franklin and Marshall

PHILADELPHIA – The Drexel men's squash team defeated Chatham 9-0 and Franklin and Marshall 8-1 on the final day of the Pennsylvania State Classic. The Dragons finished the weekend 4-1 at the Classic.
Drexel defeated Chatham 9-0, with strong wins across all matches. Charlie Taylor led with a 3-0 win over Lucas Oliveira (11-5, 11-7, 11-9), and Sean Murphy followed with a 3-1 victory against Muhammad Hassaan Raza (11-7, 11-3, 8-11, 13-11). Shomari Wiltshire battled through five games to defeat Alejandro Cruz (12-10, 14-12, 3-11, 9-11, 11-1), while Thiago Cabrejos dominated Brett Poles 3-0 (11-5, 11-0, 11-1). Hussain Alzaatari wrapped up the sweep with a quick 3-0 win (11-6, 11-5, 11-2).
Against Franklin and Marshall, Drexel won 8-1. Haris Qasim defeated Kyle Broadhurst 3-0 (11-8, 11-5, 13-11), and Guido Lindner won 1-0 over Marco DiFilippo due to injury (11-7 RE). Despite Dumitru Goian falling to Alexander Arader 3-1, Shomari Wiltshire secured a 3-0 win against Noah Katzer (11-4, 11-9, 13-11), and Tavneet Singh Mundra beat Samuel Freed 3-0 (13-11, 11-3, 11-9). Hussain Alzaatari added another strong finish with a 3-0 win (11-6, 11-3, 11-3).
Drexel will travel to Princeton on Saturday for a matchup with the Tigers at 12:00pm.
